Short version: Chidi Udd collects nothing. There are no accounts, no sign-in, no advertising, no analytics and no servers of ours. The app has no internet permission at all, so no information can leave your device even in principle.
Chidi Udd is published by Akshay Kotish & Co. Questions about this policy, or about your data, can be sent to connect@akshaykotish.com.
The game remembers your five menu settings — the number of players, which rule you are playing, the reaction time, the knockout setting and whether sound is on. That is the whole of it. It is written to the device's ordinary app-settings storage, it never leaves your phone or tablet, we cannot read it, and it is deleted when you uninstall the app.
Chidi Udd is built without internet permission. The Android build declares no network permission, and the app contains no code that opens a network connection. Everything the game needs — the words, the artwork, the sounds — is generated on the device as you play.
When sound is on, the game reads each word aloud using the speech voice built into your operating system (Apple's speech synthesiser on iOS). The word being spoken is one of the game's own fixed words. Nothing is recorded, and the microphone is never used.
Chidi Udd is a party game suitable for all ages. Because it collects no personal information from anyone, it collects none from children either.
If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted at this address with a new date at the top.
